Elim House is situated just a minute from the bustling village of Bowness and Lake Windermere. Judith and Steve offer you a warm welcome to Elim House, serving fresh home cooking in a pleasant atmosphere.

There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants in the area as well as a cinema, all within easy strolling distance of the house. Lake Windermere is only a ten minute walk away. Here you will find an abundance of water sports for the energetic, or if you prefer to take things easier, a cruise on one of the lake steamers will enable you to take in the wonderful scenery of the area.

Bowness is right at the heart of the English Lake District which has some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole of the UK, whatever the season. There is so much to see and do in the town from a gentle stroll down to the lakeside, a trip on a Windermere lakes cruiser, a wander around the myriad of shops or, for the more adventurous, a hike up to one of the numerous view points (well worth the walk!).
